Leveraging on the E4Impact Foundation’s 10+ years of experience in designing & implementing impactful entrepreneurship programs across Africa, the Accelerator program is designed to meet the needs and address the gaps of the entrepreneur. We offer a customized training program, provision of professional services, market and investor linkages – local and international, milestone-based seed grants and office space – all at no cost!

In order to fully utilize the benefits of the Accelerator program, these are the minimum criteria:

• Post-revenue (you have an existing customer base)
• Clear social or environmental impact
• Have an entrepreneurial team (at least 2 employees in the company)
• Have an innovative product/service

Yes, we invest in the selected companies that join the Accelerator program through milestone-based seed grants (up to 1.5 M per company). Towards the end of the program, the companies will go through a grant application process and if successful, the grants are disbursed to the company’s business account.

Throughout the program, we prepare the companies to be investor ready by supporting them to put the right business systems and structures in place and facilitating the investor relations.  So far, we have successfully managed to raise 405,000 Euros for our cohort of entrepreneurs.

It is a funded project by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, hence there are no program fees charged to the entrepreneur. Costs like logistics and catering are taken care of by the participating entrepreneur.

Our training program is action-oriented, with specific business assignments to be executed by entrepreneurs. It is a 12-months program where entrepreneurs attend classes 2 days in a month, participate in online webinars and work with a business coach both online and physical sessions.
